Arab Anger
A work in progress by Johann Rousselot
Arab peoples enraged – Portraits of dissidents
Johann Rousselot pursues his work with a series of portraits of Syrian refugees shot in Turkey, in the province of Hatay. They sought refuge there by the thousands, in order to avoid the repression of Bachar El Assad’s regime, and, for some, to bear witness to the situation through daily Internet activism, based almost exclusively on the upload of amateur videos to the Youtube platform.
Montages and collages produced in post-production.
