Rehabilited
Photos : Renaud Bouchez
They were wrongly convicted.
They spent years in prison because of "confessions" extracted or false testimony. Years to shout their innocence.

Uncertain heroes
Photos : Estelle Zolotoff
Estelle Zolotoff has made several trips to Georgia since 2010.
Georgians are uncertain heroes she meets between Europe and Asia, between Soviet and pro-Western orientation, between the culture of the great Russian classics and the new richs.
It is a timeless universe, as if lost in a black hole.

Ceuta, end of Europe
Photos : Arno Brignon
Ceuta is the reflection of an Europe in crisis in the waters of the Strait of Gibraltar.
Surrounded by a high security fence, it looks like a trap in which migrants, Moroccans and Spaniards seem to be blocked waiting for promises of better days ...

Transsexuals : the dark side of Pakistan
Photos : Bruno Amsellem
The role accorded to transsexuals is one of the paradoxes of Pakistani society.
In June 2009, in Islamabad, the Supreme Court decided to add a new category to identity cards, next to men and women : that of transsexual men or women.
Next April, they may vote for the first time as citizens of the "third sex", during the next elections, which will be held in this Islamic republic.
The Hijras constitute a heritage of eunuchs of Mogul emperors in the Indian sub-continent, several centuries ago.
They were present in even the remotest of villages in Pakistan ; an element of the society that nobody wanted to see.
