Mythical Mediterranean cities by Martine Voyeux
At the Photomed Festival
Martine Voyeux’s world is resolutely populated with legends, myths and dreamlike characters. Her journey, or rather, her odyssey – hopping from city to city in the Mediterranean – attracts our attention through the timelessness of these worlds and the power of symbols.
The exhibition runs from 24 May to 17 June 2012, within the framework of Photomed, Festival de la Photographie Méditerranéenne in Sanary-sur-Mer.

Two new adventures for Timo
In bookshops from 07 March
The authors, Emilie Gillet and Cyril Entzmann (Zir), were inspired by the tastes, emotions and experiences of their own children in imagining the hero of this series of books that builds bridges between photography and childhood.
These original stories take the form of early-learning books aimed for children aged 3 to 6. The two new books, Timo à la Mer [Timo at the Beach] and Timo à la Ferme [Timo at the Farm] , published by Gallimard Jeunesse, will be released in bookshops from 07 March.

Two photographs by Michel Nguie on the façade of the CAPC de Bordeaux
The Façade project allows the Centre pour l’Art Contemporain de Bordeaux to explore and develop modes of presentation in public space. Opposing the habits and customs of advertising, the museum allows young artists to intervene in display areas outside the Entrepôt Lainé – either side of the main entrance.
Michel Nguie has chosen to present two images from his “Ataraxie” series.
Like two monumental and strange vigils, these two characters appear to be keeping watch, waiting to encounter or challenge visitors to the museum.
From 9 February to 27 May 2012
Opening exhibition : 9 February 2012 at 7 pm
CAPC - Musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux
Entrepôt. 7, rue Ferrère - 33000 Bordeaux
